Ruitelan to Fonfria

thank the Lord it was a cool morning! It was a beautiful climb up to the highest point on the Camino: O’Cebreiro. I made good time, and it was absolutely beautiful. My pictures will not do it justice– 

I did encounter horses, cows, and goats! 

  

  

  

 And I have to admit, I suffer from “pack envy.” This one is too cute!

 My eldest son Jaime must have connections here 

 fog rolling in.

My feet are sore from the hills we had to climb, and it did get hot.  I was stopping the last two hours to wash my face and neck in the cool fountains. But I must press on!

 Onward to Samos tomorrow (18 km).
