Part two- Cizur Menor

was asked to feed the turtles, which was extremely fun! señora Roncal told me to bring her my boots. She then showed me how I need to take out the liner every night and stuff the boot with newspaper. She showed me how damp my liner and inside boot had become. She then pointed toy bare feet and I could see “almost blister” happening.

She then took out a female maxi pad (with wings, mind you) and put them OVER my liner. She said “Americans call this the magic carpet…you not have blister tomorrow!”

What a wonderful woman.

Tomorrow: the windmills of Alto de Pardon!
