A year ago, I wrote in my journal that I would walk the Camino de Santiago. The date was April 19th. I moved back to Virginia, unpacked and resettled, tossed around different dates until in September of last year, I purchased my tickets. I chose a day closest to my mother’s birthday. It wasn’t until recently, after looking through my past journal that I realized my purchase was for tickets on April 19th.

I am making little notes (all over my house) on things to remember: notify bank of travel, pre-schedule bill pay, pack passport (!), etc. my belly is doing random flip-flops!
